A new comedy on Radio 2 ..thought I'd give it go....didn't expect much,to be honest ...I instantly liked the the sound of the Ian D Montfort character and he made me laugh a good few times ...sometimes out loud. Very Happy

I'll be tuning in again next week to see what he gets up to

A comedy character created by Tom Binns (the man behind hapless hospital radio DJ Ivan Brackenbury) Ian D Montfort has been a hit at the last three Edinburgh festivals with his combination of magic and laughter.

I saw the second-ever performance of this character (less than three years ago) and have been delighted to follow the development over the years. It's really well-observed and delightfully fun but I've no idea how he does the 'tricks.'

The Eduardo bit in the programme this week was spooky ... Shocked

In contrast what the woman did with her 'leg' in one of the programmes was just one of many funny moments from the programme. Laughing

I hadn't heard of Tom Binns before but listening to this I'll be looking out for his name (whichever one he's using) from now on.
