Ken Bruce Radio 2 show is live from Glasgow until next Friday. He will be showcasing live bands. Today it was Hue and Cry and the lead singer sounded terrible.

He's always sounded terrible even back in the eighties
How on earth such mediocre talent ever made it as big as they did is a complete mystery to me
I do think that Ken has so far presented a really interesting and informative show even though I dislike the Commonwealth Games intensely _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I'm still trying to work out why Radio 2 is obsessed with this poor man's Olympics. If you were bothered it's on BBC 1 all day, every day _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

It's on BBC Three too. Quite clearly, they're trying to get as much airtime as possible for the money they've put in. |

It's cheap, low-effort TV.
Don't get me started on what used to be the BBC News 24 channel....
It's now travel, gadgets, book reviews, celebrity interviews..... just about anything that they can grab off the shelf and use to fill some air time without having to do news.
Sky News is far superior these days. (So is Al Jazeera, for that matter). Very sad. |
