I think tonight's edition will be the last ever from Paul Gambaccini after I don't know how many years.
Sad as I've listened regularly for years and also back in its days in a similar format on Radio 1 in the 70s.
It made good listening on a Saturday night drive back from Newcastle so I'll miss that next winter!

Don't know why they felt the need to move him to present POTP - Mark Goodier was doing a great job on that show - goodness only knows why anyone would want to replace him with the soul obsessed boring Craig Charles whose shows I avoid like the plague _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Heard a trail today and I'm sure it said Trevor Nelson not Craig Charles who I must admit that I thought was taking over.

I agree with you Ruddles. I like Mark Goodyear on POTP (better than the bitter and twisted Blackburn).
I couldn't listen to Craig Charles last week. Might as well have been tuned into Radio 1, appalling music. |

I think you are right Helen but it doesn't change my general feelings on this subject _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Mine neither Schidz, although I'd say he was a bit better than Craig Charles.
