I heard trails for part 1 of this last week and then forgot (I was a bit busy to say the least  ) to listen, so a 'heads up' if you missed it and another to say the 2nd part is on tonight at 9pm. Part 1 https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0b39jr7
I love so many of Jimmy Webb's songs as I'm sure a lot of you will so I'm hoping it won't be a disappointment.

Listened to Mastertapes a little while back, with Jimmy Webb, which I enjoyed enormously.

Two really good programmes. I heard stuff I've never heard before. Easily the best I've listened to, where Jimmy is concerned. Johnnie clearly knew his subject...or researched very well. The two hours flew by.

I just caught up with the second part this week and like you Raver lots I'd not heard. I think it was one of Johnnie's best show in this genre for a while.
