I remember buying Eloise from a stall in Woolwich Market, back in 1968, along with Elenore. These days, I have to think hard, where I put my reading glasses.
I always thought Barry was vastly underrated as a singer and performer. He certainly came into his own, once Paul decided to stop performing and write. Much more successful in Europe than here, as you will see from this great clip, he still had the voice.

Catching up with Unforgettable on Radio Lancashire this morning Gerald Jackson (the presenter) paid a personal tribute to Barry Ryan.
Paul and Barry Sapherson ( as there were known back then) went to school with Gerald in Leeds. He recalled the brothers performing in an end of term school concert around 1963.
This was the song Gerald played in tribute - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sGduXzfBmg |
