Hmm. The closeness of the moon, the recent sunspot activity, throwing energy directly to Earth, whatever's going on inside that shed in Geneva, and several other sheds in North Korea, Iran, China (and doubtless the USA)
The scientists, seismologists etc still say that they cannot predict when these things happen, only that they will. All the wonders and convenience of 21st century living at our disposal, and Nature has the power to wipe it all out with the blink of her eye. _________________ Ron |

It puts Libya in perspective- Leaders of the entire world are fannying about while people are being killed by one man's vanity - one cruise missle - that's Gaddafi dealt with-then move on, the world has much bigger fish to worry about- they should just get on with it. |

Buildings in Japan are constructed to withstand earthquakes, but little can be done about the tidal wave that might follow. Watching the aerial shots of the awesome, relentless surge is fascinating, and horrific. Large warehouses just swept aside and tossed about like flotsam and jetsam. I hope there was sufficient warning for everyone to get away in time/ _________________ Ron |
