And five other BBC broadcasters doing their bit for Red Nose Day....I thought they all did well but think Tom Service from Radio 3 ...who I have never heard of ...just about got my vote...
Here they all are for anyone who wants a look....

Wasn't sure where to put this post as it might be on TV on Friday but seeing as Tony Blackburn is mentioned ......perhaps John will move it if it doesn't belong here... |

They're all decent, but I'd agree about Tony and Tom. I was surprised at how hackneyed Tony Livesey's set was, but from the behind-the-scenes shows on Radio 4 I think his mentor struggled. |

As do those of us insomniacs who occasionally have the misfortune to tune into his weekday late-night slot. Still preferable to the insufferable Stephen Nolan, though. How that guy gets regular employment is anyone's guess. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I just watched the Shaun Keaveney spot - he doesn't like Happy Days much! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Haha! Well, I have a soft spot for Tony Livesey as I was on his Radio Lancashire show a few times and found him enjoyable company. |
