Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito has been aquitted of killing Meredith Kercher following an appeal in Italy. They have spent nearly 4 years in jail.

I doubt this case would have received a fraction of the publicity is has if Knox had been hit with the ugly stick.
Has she stated any sympathy for the family of Meredith? I haven't seen her do so, I expect she has already signed up for a full magazine sob story and chat shows, etc.

Many people seem to forget that a young girl was murdered in appalling circumstances. Sad

Quite. And the murderer is still out there somewhere ... or has just been acquitted. Will the truth ever come out? Horrible for the Kercher family.

I don't have much experience of the Italian legal system but all I can say is that if it is anything like their political and governmental system it will be very unlikely to have achieved the right outcome

I think Ms Knox and her sidekick can thank pressure from the American media for this result Sad

I agree totally about this story if Knox was not atractive,there was not one photo of the co-accused.In the statement Knox's sister made after there was not one mention of Meredith

There is a big stink due to The Wright Show running a segment called "foxy knoxy would ya?"

This is just so crass and tbh sick,mind you thestation is owned by Richard Desmond so what do you expect

I know it's sounds sick trying to sell a story for a murdered friend. Obviously bills need to be paid. Her Grandmother remortaged her house and the parents maxed there credit cards etc, etc. Knox still has fine of 22000 euros to pay to a barman she wrongly accused of the murder, and has a slander charge hanging over her. She accused the police of beating a confession out of her, which was untrue. I think any deal on the table and a fee given, some should be paid to the Kercher family.

Max Clifford mentioned that she could earn anything up to 20 million pounds for her story if she plays her cards right

It just goes to show the fickleness of the wonderful wordwide media

Some people are unjustly vilified and earn nothing even when they have done nothing wrong and yet others who happen to be seen as attractive can earn millions even when there is every chance the aquittal could be reversed by a higher court

I just find the whole thing sickening and appauling Mad
