""£11.3million on surveyors"" huh?
a bit of a non story this.. any new building complex will have all sorts of problems and things do get exaggerated by the press.
The bigger story for me would be how can the BBC justify spending this much cash? _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

It's a poorly-thought-out move, for sure. Bad enough that the building is falling apart but no-one can actually get their jobs done because they're all in giant open offices which in turn have massive windows so the Salford tramps can spend all day staring in.
The worst thing is the papers don't mention the "relocation expert" the BBC hired to oversee the move at massive expense: he actually lives in America and flies over every once in a while to bother to meet the people he's working with. |

I wonder if the queen wore a hard hat when she opened the Media Centre. |

It's wonderful up North; I wouldn't swop it.
