I have just received advance notice of a two-part special looking back at the pirate radio era. It will be broadcast this Easter on BBC Radio Norfolk. Going out across two episodes at 12 midday on Easter Sunday and 1pm on Easter Monday, "Pirates on Parade" will feature Keith Skues, Andy Archer and Tom Edwards chatting and swapping stories about their watery wireless days, interspersed with some appropriate pirate-era tracks.
One for the diary! _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

Not much music played but it was an enjoyable hour listening to some of the antics they got up to (apart from playing the music)on the pirate ships way back when...
Very primitive at times .. ...did they really use Brylcreem to fry food in????? |
