Colin will probably know the answer to this one, has Twitter changed drastically since October 10th? I had to re-sign in which I don't normally have to do.
Haven't looked until today but it's just a list of messages that cover the whole page. I rarely tweet but read often.
Appreciate help, I don't really use it properly I guess!

There's a new splash screen (the one you arrive at in order to log in) but other than that I've not noticed many changes. Mind you, I use a third-party app to access twitter, called Twitteriffic, so I'm not so familar with Twitter's own interface. They have made several operational changes, though, but those won't necessarily be visible (all to with APIs and things). |

Previously the tweets were in the middle of the screen with 2 columns either side.
Now the tweets cover the whole of the screen with the tiny pic on the left. Rather similar to the white box you reply to this board on, if that makes sense to you. It looks very bare compared to the previous 'look'!
I've not touched anything other than to click on my twitter home icon on the desktop when I got back from holiday. I've googled and can't find anything so wonder if the settings have just been altered.

Yes I see what you mean Helen. The sidebar boxes that now appear on the LHS used to be on the RHS, and the avatar plus subscriptions data was on the right, too.
Obviously just a stylesheet change. Again, I don't see it that often because I use a 3rd party iPhone app, which is completely different again. |

I wish I could post a screenshot pic of what I get now. I did know how to do it but it's so long since I tried I've forgotten how to do it.

If you're on Windows, use "Ctrl+PrScn" to save to the clipboard, then paste it into a picture editor like MS Paint, Photoshop, Gimp or whatever. Save as a JPEG.
If you have an account with Flickr or Photobucket, then upload the image to that, grab the URL and paste it here. Done! |

I'll try that a bit later Colin, the jet lag is kicking in. I used to have a photobucket account and remember the URL bit!

Have sorted problem. For some reason my desktop icon took me to 'mobile twitter'..............heaven knows why! I didn't know it existed! Thought I was going mad.
