Great to hear all the old favourites coming tumbling out. Maybe Stewpot should get a regular Bank Holiday edition.

Trouble is it's the same old. If he hadn't mentioned Clive Dunn it could have been a repeat of last year,s show. Then again, I was a bit old for Junior Choice so I don't have that much affection for it.
And if I never hear the supremely unfunny bloody Terry bloody Scott for the rest of my life it will still be too soon _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

I completely forgot it was on and missed all but the last five minutes but I guess it would have been much like the last few year's shows - after all if the tracks played are people's favourites they are going to keep getting requested year after year _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yes I agree with the above posts it is getting a bit repetitive and I have been a fond follower over the past five years since the first of these Christmas Day programmes in 2007. However, we didn't have Rolf's "Two Little Boys" this year nor "Nellie The Elephant" but there were no less than fourteen tracks which were broadcast last year, even the same carol "I Saw Three Ships A-Sailing" albeit but by a different college choir this year. I can't see Radio 2 ever wanting this programme running much more than once a year though. They aren#t too fond of the past at Radio 2 these days are they? |

Got to agree that it was very much like last year's edition but that is what happens with request programmes. You've got to have a good few that will always be there but I'm sure there are a few others that don't get aired.
