Says she's got a foot in the door. At least she coped with Popmaster with a tie break |

I like Sara and I think she coped very well and certainly a lot better than that other female bimbo who used to stand in for Ken
I suppose I can equate with Sara's sense of humour and I think she fits in well on Radio 2 _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I was in and out of the car delivering flowers so I didn't get a chance to listen properly but from what I heard she's easily better than Ball or Winkleman _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |

She played They Might Be Giants so I was happy enough with her show this morning! |

Yet another step towards R2 becoming old R1
and we also got Mark Goodyear
There just gets less and less to listen to. |

Personally I'm quite happy to see the old Radio One on Radio Two just so long as it does not go beyond around the year 2000
As has been pointed out we are at last getting professional and experienced radio people who know about and have a serious interest in music (that certainly applies to Mark Goodier) instead of incompetent and bungling so called celebrities whose only motive for doing the job is to boost their already over inflated egos even further
Credit where credit's due - perhaps Mr Shennan is eventually and somewhat belatedly getting the message _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

No credit for Chris Evans at breakfast, Zoe Ball, Sara Cox, Tony Blackburn, Simon Mayo in my view |

Hardly had a chance to hear any radio since Monday as I've had visitors staying. Heard Ed on Christmas Day and a bit of Paul O'Grady while in the kitchen but I don't think I've missed much.
Recorded Bill Kenwright and SOTS (this Saturday's girls only) but not much else I feel the need to 'listen again' to.

Of the names mentioned apart from Evans and Ball I think the others are absolutely fine and certainly for me Simon Mayo is one of the most intelligent and entertaining presenters we have had on Radio Two _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I wish he would find some new ideas, he's flogged Confessions for the last 20 years ?, homework and 3 letter acronyms are becoming boring, and the self-indulgent 'quiz' where the 3 simply guess the answers to amuse themselves is tedious.
I enjoy Fridays, and the business parts |
