Great show yesterday afternoon featuring "Rumours" and an intelligent interview of Mick Fleetwood by Johnnie Walker - worth going on i-player to listen again. _________________ Standing on Ray Moore's shoulders |

I also enjoyed last Sunday's SOT70s with the Mick Fleetwood interview. He always comes across as humourous and intelligent. His autobiog is fascinating (and probably not ghost written).
I loved Rumours back in 77 but have to say I'd be happy never to hear it again. I find it utterly cheesy now. |

Perhaps that's because, if a Fleetwood Mac is played on the radio, it's invariably one from their second incarnation (from about 1975 onwards)
I wish radio stations would play more from the original bluesy Fleetwood Mac (The Peter Green era) And not just 'Albatross'! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Yes, you're sometimes lucky enough to here that one, usually only Part 1. When did you last hear part 2? Here are both parts! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rN4FMVqq1cg _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I agree, it's a shame that the original Fleetwood Mac aren't played much these days. Man Of The World, Oh Well, or even covers like Shake Your Money Maker.
No chance of hearing them on 80s obsessed Radio 2. |

I'd rather listen to Greeny, than any other guitarist. He had a sublime touch. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |
