6 Music's Cerys Matthews sat in for Dermot this afternoon. Having previously enjoyed her 6 music show, I was certainly going to have a listen to her on R2 this afternoon. I wasn't disappointed. What do others think? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I heard about half the show and, not having listened to her shows on 6 music, thought she was one of the best stand ins I have heard on Radio 2
I'd certainly be very happy for her to permanently replace the present incumbent sooner rather than later _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yes, I heard about half of the show and she sounded good to me. I normally switch off after POTP finishes. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

It was my intention to listen to Cerys' 6 On 2 show live last Saturday, but I got the timings mixed up and missed it! Thank heavens for 'Listen Again'. As it's a miserable evening on television, I'm listening to it now, and what a good show it was. Yes, some of the tracks played will be familiar to the Radio 2 audience, but there's also a fair amount of less known stuff too. Here's the playlist: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01gb1gj If you can, it's worth a listen while it's still available. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I've listened to her programme on 6 Music from the beginning and would recommend it...10 to 12 every Sunday morning. |

Wasn't it just.? I'd never heard of them before, Becky, but thought it was beautiful music, even at that time on a Sunday morning. The piano playing was so unusual for the type of music they were singing. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |
