Dear Auntie,
I am v.worried. I have started to enjoy the Chris Evans drivetime show and now listen to it voluntarily 3 days per week (the first 45 minutes anyway).
Should I seek treatment?
Is he getting better or am I deteriorating? |

Dear Ian,
Lie down in a darkened room and think of desert Islands, sany beaches and blue seas. This temporary mania will ease.

Don't worry Ian, you have been suffering for too many years from an acute case of what is a widespread but little known about condition called, GRDS - Good Radio Depravation Syndrome. It would appear that in your case, all is not lost, as you are now able to recognise and enjoy good Radio; even admit to it. Your recovery is well under way. Listen to The Chris Evans Show as often as you can and in no time at all, you'll find yourself comparing, when other radio shows are on, and saying .... hang on , this is not as good as Chris Evans.... How does this listen again thing work? |

There are rumours that investigators at Guantanamo Bay have found loop tapes of something called 'The Chris Evans Show'. These were being broadcast into prisoners cells for up to 23 hours a day, It had no effect on the guards as, being American Soldiers, they did not understand it.
However, The ICRC has been contacted as it is considered to be 'Cruel and unnecessary torture' throuhout the civilised world _________________ Geddon

As long as you dont start enjoying the Steve Wright show I think you are quite safe. Incidentally do you still have to be forced to listen to Chris 2 days a week? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
