I've listened to most of Sara this week and have been pleasantly surprised. I'd an image of another Zoe Ball, but far from it. Very natural style, no heavy reliance on texts or reading out the newspapers, thoughtfully appropriate music, and in the main some delightfully left field selections. Gallagher and Lyle "Keep the Candle Burning", to follow todays Thought for the Day was a fine example.
The unashamed plugs for her Sounds of the Eighties show did go over the top but it seems she was aware of that and apologised. _________________ "There are more of us now......that makes us right" |

I too have enjoyed Sara this week, as I did Anneka Rice the previous week. What a shame it isn't permanent. I can understand her plugging her new permant show. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Didn't remember she was on but Sara really is a superb real presenter - not some so called celebrity playing at being a DJ
I love her SOTE Show and for me it's now compulsory listening on Saturday nights though I hope that before too long it will move to a day timeslot - for a start they could ditch the truly dreadful Elaine Page and stick Sara on Sunday lunchtimes _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

With the Radio 2 is going at present. We could see a lot of specialist shows either ditched or moved to evenings. |
