|
|
Two girls from the UK have been caught taken £1.5 Million worth of cocaine through an airport in Peru. They said " We were forced at gun point" So why didn't they inform the authorities when they got to the airport? Do you believe them? Apparently there are 100's of UK citizens who have been jailed waiting trials after being caught drug smuggling in Europe. The Home Office having to look after them as they are held up in horrid jails.

These two girls have pleaded guilty and could serve 6 years in a peru jail. They could also serve there sentence in a UK prison. Why should the UK pay upto £80K a year to keep them both? If you come from abroad and commit a crime in the UK. They serve there sentence here, then returned back to their country. I guess it's upto the courts what they decide. I guess they will make some money eventually by selling there story. |

Quote: | Drug mule Melissa Reid may be sent back to Scotland to serve her sentence for trying to smuggle £1.5m of cocaine out of Peru.
She and Michaella McCollum Connolly were sentenced to six years and eight months in jail in December after being arrested at Lima's airport carrying 11kg (24lb) of cocaine hidden in food packets in their luggage.
The Peruvian government has written to the Scottish authorities seeking clearance to let the 20-year-old from Glasgow complete her jail term in her home country.
A spokesman for the Scottish Prison Service (SPS) confirmed to Sky News they have received a "repatriation application" from Peru. |

Cause the other one hasn't started the transfer. Apparently Reid's parents had the money to start transfer. |
