Well, that's because you can't get much better than Chris Evans - but Sara Cox is still very good. |

Having heard Sara cover more mainstream programmes, to me she is infinitely preferable to the headache inducing Evans every time. So in case you're wondering, yes I agree too! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

As people I'm sure they're OK but as breakfast presenters they're only doing what they're paid for - hitting the right buttons when the server tells them to, cueing music, promos and trails when the server tells them to then filling the gaps with twaddle! |

Much more engaging than commercial radio. Even that's changing putting a little more creative leadership into a show between songs. It's all about the personalty.
Radio Caroline is totally different from every Radio station on the planet, they don't do everything you said? |

When have I ever said it's "different from every radio station on the planet"? But no, there's no use of robotics or automation at all. Presenters simply play whatever they want as long as they're album tracks (it's been an album-format station since the early 1970s). And they don't allow the music to get in the way of their egos either.
For me, it's a helluva lot better than R2 content for much of the time - by far. |

Commercial radio don't use robots. Some parts maybe voicetracked/ pre recorded, it's still all done by a real person. |
