Just a heads up about a John Wilson concert on Classic FM this Thursday at 8pm. It was I think recorded at the Sage on Jan 18th and according to Radio Times is a Light Music selection and sounds as if it will be good. It's 2 hours long.
Only problem is that Classic FM's 'listen again' feature is off just now for upgrading so you will need to listen or set Sky or other devices to record.

I listened to my recording earlier and enjoyed it.

Oh dear, I missed it as hadn't read this thread. - and tomorrow I'm off to Cornwall for a week so doubt I shall be able to catch up with it. I'd be interested to know what I missed as I love "light music".
BTW last night's FNIMN was delightful on the story of the Light Programme. |

It's not on Listen Again as Classic FM's service is temporarily down for upgrading. It doesn't say when it will be back.
It was a nice selection Eileen, several of Eric Coates', Calling All Workers, Horseguards, Coronation Scot(?) and Sleepy Lagoon.
