Tonight's episode features David Hepworth talking about 'A Hard Day's Night' and 'Mr Tambourine Man' from the Byrds is the other featured LP.
David Hepworth was very interesting when he was a guest recently on Drive Time so probably worth a listen!

Just listened to it, very interesting. It rightly emphasised how influential The Beatles were on American bands when they arrived in the US in 1964, Lennon's Rickenbacker guitar prompting Roger McGuinn and countless others to turn electric. |

I heard a trailer this morning (for next Wednesday?) for The Kinks' Village Green Preservation Society and The Small Faces' Ogden's Nut Gone Flake, both from 1968.
Should be worth a listen. Village Green is not a classic IMHO, but Ogdens is. |
