Glad you enjoyed the movie. Some time ago I saw a docu about Jenkins do I know how awful she was. Quite a few of my US colleagues have some if her original records, it's amazing that they sold quite well.
I haven't listened to that Streep audio clip, I will wait to see the movie on Sky next year or later !

Quite!...apparently Cole Porter and Enrico Caruso were amongst her celebrity fans, of which there were many!
I would like to see the documentary about her. |

Don't know if it was on Sky,John,but it's on BBC One this Sunday at 8-15.

Becky, FEM,
I did see the film on Sky some months ago, persuaded Mrs W to watch it too, thoroughly enjoyed. Having known something of her career through record collectors Streep portrayed her exactly as I thought she would be, missed the Beeb broadcast but I expect if I want to watch it again it may be available in SkyStore on my telly.
