please don't tell me it will be Davina this time.
Kate on Radio 2.
She did a 10.30 at night show i believe last time.
Let's be honest female presenters are few on Radio 2.
maybe she COULD sit in for Mark Radcliffe later in the year

Kate Thornton was absolutely atrocious when she was on R2, on the 10.30 slot I think, and if my memory serves me correctly she did Sarah Kennedy's show for a week and was equally bad on that.

Gosh, i remember that Helen - atrocious!! And from the look of X-factor, she aint got any better. Seemed all she wanted was for the contestants (how old fashioned does that sound!!) to give her a soundbite to say "Well, Joe thinks he was hot but did he make you reach for the ice, vote now on...."

Would that be the Indie or the Sun????
I don't think Ms. Thornton and Mr. Cowell really got on.... you could sort of tell from the body language.
That said, i think that there are few of the current generation of presenters who could hack what she's been doing on saturday night live network TV. It's an incredibly difficult job to do and full credit to her for doing it well.
That said, the X-Factor is crap! Well past its sell-by date - and it'll be interesting to see what influence Michael Grade has upon its future.
