Sad and shocked when I read this earlier. Who can forget her crying on the Duchess of Kent's shoulder...and she did come back to win Wimbledon.

Who indeed,Raver. It showed a human side to the royals we weren't used to seeing when the Duchess of Kent reached out to Jana. Fitting that she overcame that very public display of disappointment to win Wimbledon. ...a very popular winner! She always seemed a lovely woman as well as a great tennis player.
Very sad to hear she has died at just 49. |

Very sad to hear of her premature passing - quite apart from her tennis abilities she seemed a very sincere and genuine person
Certainly a classic case of the good dying too young _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |
