Absolute colossus for Ipswich Town. Possibly the nearest thing to Duncan Edwards. Injury plagued his career, mainly due to pain-killing injections a-plenty, which ruined his knees.

Never made much, if anything, from the game he served so well. In a week where Raheen Sterling has reputedly demanded an extra £100k a week from Man City, it sticks in my throat that he was taken to court for not declaring his carer's allowance for looking after his wife, who has MS. Lord knows how much he'd be worth today. Very sad.
