I caught up with last Sunday's episode of this programme tonight and I don't know how accurate the portrayal of Victoria's and Melbourne's relationship is but Rufus Sewell and Jenna Coleman are acting out the script beautifully. It had me in tears when Victoria took Lord Melbourne the bird in the cage.
I haven't seen tonight's episode yet but I assume from last weeks that that will be the last time we see Lord Melbourne. The series will be the poorer (if he has died) for his loss. |

Yes, Becky, I agree with all that. It was beautifully written and acted. |

This series may well have been the best yet. But they've all been excellent. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |

Haven't seen last night's as we are a week adrift of viewing, but have enjoyed this series.

Laurence Fox has been a delight as Lord Palmerston in this series.
