Heard on midday news that Bob will not be presenting his show for some time due to a serious illness.

Indeed. He has long been one of my favourites. I still sorely miss his weekend show, for which most of my latter day CD buying was influenced by. I sincerely hope he is soon back behind the microphone. Get well soon 'His bobship'.
