To celebrate Tom's 80th, it's a two-parter with Cerys Matthews. An unexpected delight. The Jones boyo is very interesting, telling little tales of his past, while Cerys asks sensible questions. A delightful hour of radio. Part two next week.

I'm going to listen to this during the coming week Raver so good to hear that it's good!
I think he gets a mention in Terry Walton's (JV's allotment guy) book back in those early days in the valleys. I'll have to re read it or message Terry.

The second part was also a great listen, H. I also listened to Terry last Friday. Must be something about the Welsh. I had a crush on Mary Hopkin when I was at school. I even liked Harry Secombe. But not in that way. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |

I watched a documentary last month on Dana. She's had an incredible life. Unfortunately, it's no longer available on iPlayer, but well worth a watch if it returns. Doesd anyone remember that DLT used to call Clodagh 'Roadie Clogduff'?
H. I forgot to mention my expertise on Fireman Sam and the residents of Pontypandy, so I suspect you're right. _________________ life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans |
