...as far as I am concerned
Celebrations all the way.
The law breaking liar is going!
And it is yet another lie that has proved to be his downfall.

Except he's staying on as PM.... until the Tories vote in a replacement.
Apparently, he and Carrie have a big wedding bash planned at Chequers in the next few weeks.
Also, every one of the people who resigned get a nice lump sum of severance pay. As will the ones he's just put into position when -if? - a new PM is elected and kicks them all out.
That's over £420,000 we're paying them so far. The Education secretary, Michelle Donelan, who was in post for about 36 hours will get around £17,000 |

Indeed he is, Red but knowing he is going soon is cause for celebration - some are trying to make sure he goes quite quickly.
Bet Carrie was on to him straightaway for him to have a stay of execution so they could have their big bash there
Poor little Wilfred won't have his £150,000 tree house to play in, will he?
As for the pay out/s it's a scandal - another one to add to all of the others.
In my home town Madame Tussauds have put his waxwork figure of him outside of the Job Centre.

Another one bites the dust
Well you've gotta or you would be crying in despair at what this Tory shower have done/is doing to this country.
How long before sanity prevails.
Perhaps not any time soon as there are voices in the Tory Party calling for Johnson to come back - that's if they can persuade him to get off his sun lounger in the Caribbean.
At least he's saving on energy - bet some of his constituents would love to be doing the same.
I did see one tweet that said 'Another senior Tory says they’ll “burn the building down” if Boris Johnson returns…'

And, as Red Baron said the last time, she is staying on until the replacement is foisted upon the nation. There really needs to be a change in the law so that when a prime minister stands down, then a general election is automatically generated, that way the people of the country pick the next prime minister rather than a party clique. Will anyone be brave enough to bring that law in? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Agreed,LEE.
And something should be done about this!
'Liz Truss will be entitled to claim £115,000 per year from the taxpayer despite becoming the shortest-serving Prime Minister in British history.
Ms Truss, who resigned this afternoon after just 44 days in office, will be able to claim through the Public Duties Cost Allowance (PDCA) which allows former leaders to claim money back towards the cost of maintaining their activities in public life.'
