Sadly, not too much. But two things spring immediately to mind: Pizza - I can understand someone enjoying one eighth of a pizza, very tasty, very appetising, but anything more than that??? Yuck!!
Also, kippers. Haven't had them in over 40 years, but can still remember that awful feeling when they repeat, the tough salty texture. Urgh! And of course, Finnon Haddock!
I used to have a thing about mushrooms when I was tiny, and avoided them like the plague until I was about 14. Then I tried them, and have regretted those wasted years ever since! |

Agree about the Pizza! one piece nice, but more than that, no thanks!
I never have liked the look or taste of Mushrooms, although I will suffer them if they are in small pieces in something like fried rice.
Can't stand Kidney, Tripe, Tongue (shudder) Liver or anything with eyes like those King Prawns or Whitebait!!
Any peculiar fruit such as Mango, Papaya or Kiwi... |

I can recall when I was a kid that there used to be a UCP shopin Rochdale that specialised in tripe. Never tasted it, just used to stand there wanting to throw up when my Gran went in to order her daily"fix". Also seem to remember that they had some kind of cow hide nailed to the wall - maybe you could buy it, or perhaps you were just meant to feel guilty or something! It never figured on my shopping list as I grew up, for sure. |

Minx, if you want to quote somebody's message, hit the "quote" button instead of reply.
This will bring up the complete message within these [--blah blah blah--]
Add you message after these.
You can edit the quoted section using delete. |

Depends if it's authentic pizza or not. As opposed to the rubbish that's mostly available in "American Pizza" places, try a proper pizza in a backstreet family restaurant in Naples, Italy. That's pizza.
Needless to say, I love proper pizza!

Don't like mussels. Those New Zealand 'green lipped' (an accurate description but pur...lease!!!) look like they need a gynaecologist...check 'em out on the fish counter next time you're in Sainsbugs _________________ treasure

Cauliflower! Ken Bruce had the best description of this a few years ago when he described it as 'Boiled Brain'!
And cabbage. except in very small doses and then not the stalks!

I used to eat Celery dipped in sugar when I was a kid! not sooo bad.
I don't like cauliflower either and serving it is a nightmare as it tends to fall into pieces.
Cabage is ok but I like the white centre bit - raw! lovely!!

I made a cake the other day (something of a "blue snow" episode for me, but we were having people to stay). I had forgotten the sheer delight of licking out the bowl. The final product was slightly more resistable.
At the other end of the spectrum though, I hate prawns cooked in chinese dishes. Like eating rubber. Sorry.... lubber. Love ordinary prawns though. |

That's one way I can eat cabbage if it's well disguised, also in a cole slaw but not that horrible green stuff you get in some fast food joints though. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I'm very partial to carrots, dandelions and the lovely soft grass that grows here on Bodmin Moor after it's been raining (which is most of the time in this miserable county). Still, it's nice and warm in the burrow.
I'd don't much like curried carrots though.
