The only thing missing from the celebrations seems to be a public holiday. Can we have tomorrow off. Lets declare it Sir Elton John day.
The radio & tv airwaves seem to have given him royal status now. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

It seems to be the colonies who are celebrating Dame Elton's birthday the most. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

The last track on Bob Harris's show last night/this morning was one of Mr Dwight's, in celebration of him being able to get free prescriptions and sight tests. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Don't men only get the heating allowance at 60 ? That will be useful in LA for Mr Reginald Dwight |

His early stuff is far and away the best-Goodbye Yellow Brick Road is one of my favourite all time albums.
Happy Birthday Elton John. |

... in addition to "Captain Fantastic & The Brown Dirt Cowboy" (another result of a superb collaboration with lyricist Bernie Taupin). What a wonderful album.
Reg's stuff for Disney has killed his career stone dead. What a load of bilge!

Two of his albums I really like: 'The Fox' - mainly for ''Just Like Belgium'' (a bouncy little track) and the classic 'Blue Moves', for ''Idol'' _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |
