I am intrigued -do you set your computer to play music whilst you surf the internet/posts messages on this board.
I always set my iTunes up and put the party shuffle on. I find it relaxing to have musicplaying in the background while i surf the net.
Just interested in what others do. |

I always listen in to Radio 2 live on the Internet. Can't abide switching from one wavelength to another, (even if I could reach them from over here) and don't have CD facilities in the study, so apart from weekdays, 5pm till 7.00 (or 6.00pm till 8.00 over here) I'm well satisfied with the set up. Local english speaking spanish radio is OK here, but a bit parochial. |

Sometimes I do. I catch up on what I miss during the week using R2 listen again. _________________ treasure

Usually - I'm either using the 'Listen Again' feature to catch up with something on R2, R4 or R5Live, very occasionally (i.e. Saturday afternoons/evenings) have Radio 2, WCLZ or Americana Roots Radio on live via the Internet. If I've just acquired a CD or two they might go on instead. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I've had ClassicFM (Katie Derham prog) earlier and now Radio 2 (Laycock) on while checking out forums
I gave Titchy and Russell Davies a miss
I have a deck close by and often play charity shop finds while surfing |

Tonight while posting this, I'm listening to a recording I made years ago off Radio 1's Stereo Sequence or was it Saturday sequence? (approx 1988 0r 1989) There's a bit of Roger Scott introducing it then a compilation of bits of shows etc from the start of R1. Very nostalgic. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I normally listen live or again to mainly R2, right now I am catching up with yesterdays SOTS as I was away for the weekend, next is either Bob Harris Country or his Saturday show, then it's Johnnie Walker for meeeeeee
BB
PS Sometimes I put al of my music on Real Player on random, but usually when I have listened to everything I have missed on "listen again".

Stereo Sequence. This is the entry in the R2ok timeline. Can't remember the source but it suggests the show was simutaneously on Radio 2 FM who had sport on MW.
R2 Saturdays ~1987 ....

I normally listen to R2 (tuner wired to the PC, not online) or use Winamp on random play of all my CDs on the PC. |
