I have a hunch that Richard Bacon will join Radio 2 in the near future? I do think he would fit in nicely. It was said that he should have taken over Breakfast on Capital Radio London?
I mean he is the young tonic for the building of the network, just alongside Dermot etc etc.. |

You keep saying this Mark and it's never happened. Hopefully it never will - he's useless, annoying, and every show he does is a flop. |

Yes, he's on some minor London station after being dumped from a big London station. He's also occassionally on 5Live and currently presents the digital spinoff from Castaway - so, big time presenter then!
A stint on the breakfast show on BBC7 was met with near-universal derision by listeners, but the guy continues to get work - mainly because of his "fame." He is best known for being sacked from Blue Peter after taking drugs. |

He's been covering for Matthew Bannister this week on Five live. He has left XFM. |

The ex-junkie covering for the ex-hatchet man. The joys of public service broadcasting.
I caught Mr Bacon on Monday - all he could prattle on about was caravans _________________ Geddon

Mark, you seem to listen to far too much radio and it's not good for you. That Bacon bloke is a twit.
