Are these really the 3 most important stories in the UK today.
1. Price William breaks up with girlfriend
2. Its hot & sunny outside
3. There is a budgerigar with a good record of picking winning racehorses (it's Grand National day today).
Acording to News 24 it is............. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I am waiting for my eldest sister to go for a vital X-ray. Prince William splitting with Kate Middleton means little at this moment.
I did get the feeling they were burying worse news! _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

I tend not to watch 24 hour news as I find it disturbing to say the least.
The last time I saw it there was a report of a plane in trouble and the news reader ( and she was really matter of fact about it ) said:
"Reports are coming in of a plane in trouble over ( cant remember ), we'll let you know if it crashes"
I think I'd rather have Kate boring me to tears than newsreaders sat there hoping something awful will happen so they can be "first with the news"
Remember the good old days when the news was on twice a day and if something major did happen we had a "News Flash" normally in the middle of Grange Hill _________________ "Timpani!, Timpani!, They've all got it Timpani!"- All drummers know the pain of skin trouble. |
