I noticed this a while ago and it seems that the message facility for local BBC radio stations is no longer available.
I wonder why this is.
Is the BBC stifling free speech. |

Eh?
The BBC Cov & Warks MB is alive and well. It includes several boards where the Hosts have named the topics and you enter your response via a form, but there is also a normal BBC-type forum 'Get It Off Your Chest' :

What made you think they were all gone Mark?

Hi John-Hope you are well.
I checked the Radio Oxford a few times recently and noticed the message board facilty had disappeared.
I check some other local BBC sites earlier today and noticed no message board facilty on those (can't remember which ones though-maybe Bristol I think was one).
Maybe then it is just a one off affecting Radio Oxford. I take a look at their board every now and again because there used to be a far few messages posted about Richard Allinson but you can't see them now. |

Mark,
There is still an Oxford messsageboard
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/england/TSP?phrase=Oxford
The link to a local MB is not in the left hand menu, you have to root about near the foot of the pages where it might say
More to browse on this site...More from this section or something like that and you'll see Message Board.
Has the location of the link changed? Nobody has posted at Oxford since last week.

Thanks John-appreciate your helpful post.
Found it.
Slightly hidden away now-I wonder if other non regular posters to these boards might have trouble locating these local mesage boards if you only pop in to them every "now and again".
Can't understand really why they moved it-it seemed it okay to me where is was before. |
