Ah, fond memories of the good ol' Cold War....
A couple of Russian Tu-142 Bear-F recon aircraft decided to try and photograph the recent Neptune Warrior exercise off the Western Isles recently, part of which I also photographed the other week!  This hasn't happened for quite a while (fuel and spares are apparently in short supply) - they were escorted by a couple of Tornadoes sent up on QRA from Leuchars - funnily enough, I didn't get any hassle at all!

I know the reference to 'Help! It's The Hair Bear Bunch', because I used to watch it on a Wednesday afternoon!
