Thanks for the heads-up.

Might just do that. She made a good job of her one appearance on SOTS during BM's illness.

As if there's not enough 60's music on radio two. will the old duffers be happy though? no they will find something else to moan about.

Do I detect from the above post of your's that you're looking forward to the return of Suzi Quatro. If so, you do realise that the music she plays is from the 1950s / early 60s. Does that make you an old duffer?!!

Well there might be worse things to be, but no.
Suzi Q features late 50's and occassionally early 60's. Radio 2 is obsessed IMHO with the late 60's. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Anyone had a request played on Suzi's programme? I've had two! The first was for a 'Rock'n'roll Memory' about Brian Epstein, who I used to buy my records from and that was 'Anna' by Arthur Alexander. The second was 'Ballad of the One Eyed Jacks' by Johnny Burnette. As I seem to be going alphabetical with the artists, I think I'll request a Chubby Checker tune next! |

Suzi Q is back on the airwaves tonight! The BBC are still showing the times as 21.00 to 2200, on Suzi's programme page, but thanks(?) to Lesley Douglas the show now starts at 22.00. I wonder if Suzi will comment unfavourably on the time change as Mark Lamarr did? Still, I'll be listening as usual and also to the Steve Earle programme about Hank Williams. |
