|
|
I hate it when I only get half a tale! What's this about some Radio 2 (or radio personality) listings which reputedly shows that Chris Evans comes 82nd in the popularity ratings. I believe CE mentioned something about it yesterday evening, but although I have the music on I tune out the chatter. Wogan also mentioned something about it this morning in reference to him being one of the few presenters known by his surname. Anyone know anything about it, or can provide a link? |

Terry was not on the list of the 100 most powerful people in broadcasting, however Ant & Dec were... |

Andy,
I got heartily sick of them on 'Byker Grove' _________________ Geddon

Well, I wouldn't have known who Eric Schmidt was if I hadn't Googled him.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Thanks for that. So it was the media top 100. Having seen the list, and finding that Russell Brand is placed higher than Chris Evans, it made me realise something that stopped me in my tracks. If Brand's recent Saturday night offerings were typical of what he's doing these days (and to be honest I hadn't previously had the impression that he was that juvenile and self-indulgent) well......then.....er.... I can scarcely bring myself to say this.... I realised that I would rather listen to Chris Evans than Rusell Brand. There, I've said it. |

I can't listen to either of them for more than a few seconds. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Well, I'd rather listen to CE than RB if they were the only two choices in town (which I'm rather thankful isn't the case!).... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

RB is awful. That Guardian profile of Evans is funnier: I love the way they say he's about to make a big TV comeback and go on to name all his recent flops! |

At least he has gone gracefully from the world of TV unlike some presenters who refuse to accept that they are not TV stars. Vernon Kay take note! _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
