Very sad to see the events currently taking place in Burma.

Just terrible that innocent people are being killed for protesting against the current regime.

I wonder how this is going to end.

The eyes of the world are on Burma.

China is the only country that can influence Burma.

But China doesnt have much respect for the individual either.

For me the worst image of the day was the photograph of the Japanese photographer in the last few seconds of his life with the Burmese policeman about to shoot him. Sad

And the media were not banned from Tiananmen Square as they are in Burma.
I heard a recording of Kate Adie's 1989 report from there recently, it still gives me chills, she was lucky to live by all accounts *shudder*
