Does anyone know what the plans are for the December week on the road this year on the show? Have they picked any locations yet?

Well they said last year that they would definitely be doing it again, but so far I havent heard much about what is happening this year. Maybe I have just missed it or maybe they havent got budget to do it again _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I remember that it was the first week of December last year & he started off in Co Tyrone, followed by Fife, then down to Wales & finishing up in Somerset I think. The Scottish one was hilarious with the Murdoch family coming across as good sports even if they did seem a bit offbeat.
It would be a shame if they didnt keep up the tradition _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

He's probably hoping that the suckers..... sorry, devoted listeners...... have forgotten all about it in order that he can slink off down the pub instead. |

No troll, and no silly remark. It could very well be true. Ginger-top has been known to do far worse. So it's very plausible, in my opinion. |

Stop spoiling things for others. If you have nothing better to discuss about CE, then don't post anything at all.

MArk,
Don't take offence.... but stop trying to tell others what to do.
You have posted on a Chris Evans thread to ask if people have nothing better to discuss. If you don't have anything better to psot, DO NOT post. Whether you intend to or not, you are causing MORE HARM than your mind can ever imagine.
Keep to your discussions and stop telling others what they can and cannot discuss.
PS - Any show that Chris Evans has had in the past ten years has been terrible. |

What is there to spoil? I'm merely putting forward what I (and others, I'm sure) consider to be a plausible explanation for Gingernut's reluctance to discuss his plans, that's all. It seems fair enough to me. |

Seems to be the attitude of the mods on this board lately. Abuse is ok as long as it is directed and presenters that you dont personally like. THat's fair enough, its your forum, but you should state that upfront so that we understand where you are coming from.

How is that possible? John told us that the gripes section was for all the negative and abusive stuff and that the Shows section was to discuss the content of shows. If you have trolling comments interupting these threads, how can any sensible discussion take place. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west.....

You are confusing the point gfloyd.
My point was that for someone to come on a thread simply to chastise other members (when this person is not even a moderator) will simply add to any Trollish behaviour.
Gripes should be kept in the relevant sections, but as long as a the opinion isn't voiced over, and over, and over, then I do not think that that rule should apply on threads such as there. The gripe section is for discussion primarily of a negative manner. But of course, if I were to post my opinion of Evans more than once, then it should NOT be here. |

How can you say that? Chris Evans was excellent on the Radio 1 breakfast show! |

You haven't pointed to an image in a recognisable format. You've posted a line of php code that contains an internal image reference (as in "pic_id=621"). |

As a relative newcomer to these parts I am pleased to see a forum with so many members think that Chris Evans is useless and who should not be gracing the airwaves of the once great Radio Two, well done folks. |
