According to Aled at the beginning of the show Sarah has "a bug". I'm sure the conspiracy theorists are going to read any more into it than that, but I think that this reason is perfectly plausible and requires no further explanation. _________________ ~~~ Niblet ~~~

Even if it was a bug. It was a surprise hearing Aled this morning as Sarah made no mention she would be off for the next week. Sarah did say on Thursdays show that her beloved is taking away for a dirty weekend. Maybe it's too keep us on our toes. Something different and don't tell everyone there private lives. I think it's right no DJ should say they are on Holiday. TV personal don't say when they are off. |

I'm sure I heard Sarah say at some point this week that the 'Beloved' was speaking at a function in Rutland tonight or at the weekend. It could have something to do with that.
I don't usually hear Sarah but have been up with the larks this week so have heard her show some mornings.

It does come very soon aftr the BBC admitted they made a mistake in not making an on-air apology for Sarahs remarks about not seeing black people in the dark. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2008/feb/25/bbc.radio?gusrc=rss&feed=media Maybe they have decided to suspend her for a week as a belated punishment. That said, the radio 2 schedule says Sarah is on as normal for the next week.. |

Oh well..... at least we'll have a well-earned break!
As I've said on another thread though I prefer SK to Mr. Jones. Is it a ploy by the Beeb to convert those of us who are not Kennedy fans? |

I think the mistake they made is in making any sort of an apology when there was nothing to apologise for! And I'd think that regardless of who made the initial remark. _________________ ~~~ Niblet ~~~

I was surprised to hear her. He obviously wanted to give the conspiracy brigade something to croon about. _________________ ~~~ Niblet ~~~
