Half Term week again and Ken is off. Richard Allinson covering the show for the week?

Yup, major yawnfest coming up this week ......... well, it would be if it wasn't for Listen Again, so now I can listen to Ken's programmes from last week instead (many of which I missed due to work-related commitments).
So that's a biy YAY for Ken, and a big red raspberry for Dick Ally. |

What a great set of shows Richard delivered this past week covering for Ken Bruce.
Really enjoyed them-great enterainment as well as great music played. This is how Radio 2 should be.
Sadly with the mainstays back in harness next week time to retune the radio to other stations during daylight hours-eg Virgin, Smooth, Planet Rock.
Looking forward already to hearing Richard back on Radio 2 sometime in the future. |

HOPEFULLYU Simon Mayo will fill in for Ken when he takes his 2 weeks off in August (has to be betetr than Davina McCall like last year!)
ps I hate to m ention it,but didnt Adrian Juste die? |

According to wikipedia, he's definitely in the 'living people' category http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrian_Juste
...mind you, as The Bruce pointed out today, wikipedia also claims Ken as the last King of Scotland. |
