Oh dear!
I got a duck in the second round of Popmaster this morning, for only the second time in 3 years of fantasy playing.
I got a not-too-bad 15 in the first round.
Has anyone else recently scored a nice round figure in this?

I can't give you the comfort of saying that I have, Ian.
The second round was definitely much harder than the first today (got 36 in the first). The questions were nearly all pitched in the 1990s. _________________ Ron |

I've never actually recorded my score, perhaps I'll give it a go. Some days I do pretty well, surprising myself sometimes but once the questions get into the 90s I'm hopeless.
No matter what the questions were, I know I'd do badly live on air... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Got 12 and 9 this morning--still not brilliant.
Shan't hear it for the rest of the week.
Have the questions got harder?

A few years ago, someone told me about this link. Its nothing to do with the quiz/show itself but should serve the purpose. Hope it helps: http://www.popmaster.co.uk/ _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Not seen that before, may give it a try if I'm near the PC when it comes on.

Today - 1st round: 12, 2nd round: 21.
In the twenties is pretty good for me. Never had a duck, though. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

15 and 30 for me today - there usually is a big difference between the two rounds. I've never had a maximum, nor a zero, though I'm sure the latter would be easily achieved if I were ever tempted to try to do it live on air. _________________ Ron |

Got a 30 in the first round today. This included 18 easy points in the 60s groups questions.
My second round score was a more modest 15.
Again, the answer to the Hollies 'sole' no 1 disc question depends on which chart you use. The answer given by the contestant, I'm Alive, was correct but the NME gave the group an additional no 1 in 66 with I Can't Let Go.

A splendid session yesterday, with scores of 36 and 30. Mine were only 15 and 9!
Missed it today.

I got 27 and 9 today. The disparity really is weird! |
