More's the pity.
If I was in charge I would let go the whole group of daytime presenters-except Evans-move him to breakfast.
The current incumbents are dinosaurs/are boring, stale, lazy and provide absolutely no added value whatsoever to the daytime Radio 2 output.
As far as replacements are concerned have I mentioned Richard Allinson-thought not. Rich "What slot would you like".
There are a number of other folk on the sidelines who I would recruit asap to help take forward Radio 2 daytime radio output.
The whole station's Monday to Friday schedules need a radical overhaul-sooner rather than later. |

Evans for breakfast?!! Heaven forbid it!! In any case he got sacked from two stations because he couldn't hack the breakfast slot. Why not put Richard Allinson there instead? You'd have my full support then? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Hi There LEE-Richard could be put in any of the slots as far as I'm concerned but the one which I just really like him covering is Drivetime.
Can't put my finger on it why but he just sounds so comfortable in this slot.
I think Evans on breakfast would be a good move-he might calm down a tad. |

There is NO chance of Evans calming down, no chance whatsoever.
Besides which, his wife is due to give birth in a few months, and I can't see early starts working well with child duties at all hours of the day and night!
The current daytime lineup is in no need of a supposed 'overhaul'. It's at its most successful in years. I don't listen to Evans but I appreciate he is popular and has many listeners. The only changes I foresee would be as a result of Wogan's retirement, and that would only likely affect the morning setup of Sarah, Terry and Ken. Of course, here's hoping that doesn't happen for a few more years! |

There's certainly only one man fit for the afternoon slot... with the exception of Mark Radcliffe maybe.
I wonder if old Stevie boy and the team could carry off the breakfast slot? I'm not sure. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Just joking with you, of course
Nick. |
