Am having a belated 60th birthday party this evening! About 50 coming, I think.
Would love to invite you all but space doesn't permit.

Thanks for all the good wishes.
Had a great night and, though some sandwiches etc had to go out, I've saved some fruit and cake.
About 45 turned up in the end. That was about what I expected, as we had the inevitable little flurry of last-minute can't-get-a-babysitter people and some no shows.
The disco was mixed but had a strong 60s element.
A lovely occasion--I now need to work on Mrs W to have something similar when her big six-oh comes round in 2013!

Congratulations Ian.
I remember well my 40th when my missus really went to town on me, even had a stripper and a video camera filming the party. The stripper event turned out quite painful for me, leave that story for later
Her 40th and my 50th were relatively quiet affairs.
But next year my missus is 50 next year and I really ought to do something to remember |
