Errr Mark. He is NOT an MP. Hasn't been now for at least 5 years either.
He will be a Lord. He couldnt win a by election anywhere in Britain at the moment, even if he wanted to become an MP again. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Years ago I and a work colleague were discussing a manager who was constantly allowed to get away with serial bullying and harassment of his own subordinates and other staff.
I expressed incredulity that this should keep happening without his boss taking any action but my colleague replied, "They won't touch him. He knows where the bodies are buried." By this he meant that the manager knew enough dirt about the group of senior managers to give them a very unpleasant time if they took any action against him.
Are we seeing the same syndrome in respect of Mr Mandelson?
