First it was a boat Osbourne wasn't supposed to be on, now he's on the attack about the Economy.
Maybe there is some truth in what he's saying? At the end of the day every Political Party should be pulling together?

No they shouldn't be pulling together- the opposition should be attacking the useless Government; every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month that remains until Gordon Brown and his band of moronic self-interested wasters are comprehensively slaughtered at the General Election. |

A You Gov Poll suggests the Tories are ahead a little, but not as far as they were a few months back. I suppose the number crunching PM will continue, as he's the best man to get us through this tough times? |

Eh, Mark, Osbourne IS the "opposition". So he's upsetting the government.
The US and the banks everywhere are the cause of the recession, but we are in danger of talking ourselves into a worse recession, much of the problem with falling FTSE and Dow Jones is/was lack of confidence/trust etc etc

The Government can only cut taxes for a while, with higher taxes coming in the future? Can't keep borrowing money? If the Tories did take over they would be left with a huge bill.
I don't know if anyone was watching Newsnight last week and were talking about National Bankruptcy? Could it happen? |

The run on the pound has started already. Its down to 1.16 versus the euro & 1.50 against the USD and its going to drop like a rock this week. Osbourne was just stating the bloody obvious.
Those expats in the sun will be finding their pensions dont pay the bills soon. Maybe Gordon can send the Navy to pick them up _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

irresponsible lending in the UK played a big part too, although Brown doesnt want to admit it. 120% mortgages, 40 year mortgages, self certified mortagages, buy to let, anyone???? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Mark, Gordon Brown would mud-wrestle with his own grandmother if he thought it would win him votes. The Government are attempting to buy votes now by putting people who haven’t even been born yet into massive debt- it’s not like those folk yet to be born can register their disapproval is it?
Stealing from unborn babies – just how low can the Labour Party get? |

Not a bad plan MIS ... although they're all the same really - none of them are in it for the people or the country. |
