Phil Lynott died 20 years ago today ( 4th January )
It's a shame he wasn't remembered in a documentry on the station?

20 years, I can hardly believe that.
I saw Thin Lizzy a couple of times, including a very muddy Reading Festival.
Phil has a Radio 2 connection which I expect you know mark ?

Leslie Crowther presented 'Junior Choice' on R1/R2.
Phil Lynott's passing was mentioned by either AL or MG today, I forget which. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I'm flabbergasted that it was 20 years ago
I liked him, TW played a track by him yesterday 'Old Town' which was later covered by the Corrs. |
