Well yes, it is.
I'm very grateful to a member of the R2ok yahoo group who has put THIS forum together after the announcement by the BBC that the official Shows & Music forum is closing (Dec 12, 2006).
The yahoo forum is OK for messages but is not fast enough for a 'chat' dialogue; THIS forum is set up to be more like the BBC forum, the messages appear quickly and responses can be seen quickly too.
Suggested topics have been set up to start things off, with headings much like the popular subjects that featured regularly in the BBC forum.
I hope many of the friendly and knowledgable posters at the BBC forum join up here and keep in touch.
Your private e-mail address can remain hidden on this site but there is a private message facility where you can 'talk' with any member in private.
Regards, _________________ -

John,
I reckon a few guys from the Coffee Bar on the R2 MB would like to join this one?
Have you informed likes of Ernie & Ian Robinson and others? |

And there's plenty of us still here who were here at the start (or in my case, the day after!).... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
