Wogan is not working on New Years Day-normally I would cheer but his replacement is the dire Aled Jones.
Still the excellent Shaun Keaveny on BBC 6 Music is working the breakfast slot over on the other side.
Interesting to note that Adam and Joe are on New Years Day at 12pm-should be an interesting show. |

Interesting how we get the 'highlights' from a non R2 show, and unknown 6music Djs, as a special on R2 |

The double issue Radio Times didn't pick up that Lulu was sitting in for Steve Wright on today's Love Songs.

A marginal improvement.
Why do all these people that want to tell their partner how great they are not just do it in person and spare the rest of us this mush? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Unless they have discovered a cure for some terminal disease, or discovered a new planet I agree.
I dont need to hear that people are ironing. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

You can't really class Shaun Keaveny as "unknown" as he's done a reasonable amount of broadcasting. _________________

Ah so you're saying Adam and Joe are unknown DJ's..... which I will challenge again. They are popular on 6Music and lest we forget their stint on XFM on Saturday afternoons filling in the rather large slot left by Gervais, Merchant and Pilkington which they went on to take permanently until 2006. _________________

Well that takes care of half of Radio 2's shows ( and stand ins )
Of course The Big Show doesn't rely on such things... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
